In February, Mom and I traveled to England for our annual antique shopping trip. We found some great things to pack into a container and ship back to the store in McKinney!
Our trip started in the English countryside as we toured charming villages and towns, stopping to shop along the way. We traveled from the county of Lancashire, into Yorkshire, then Lincolnshire, and ending in the global city of London.
We shopped at all sorts of places, from architectural salvage yards, disorganized antique "malls", wholesale barns, and high end retail shops. We sorted through piles of junk and rubbage ... We found treasures in flea markets with lovely displays under white tents.
Knowing our container would arrive to Texas in April, just in time for Spring, we shopped for mostly garden antiques. We shipped home lots of fabulous architectural pieces from historical houses in England and France. In London, we purchased handmade bags & jewelry using reclaimed Army materials from a unique city artist.
Here is a sneak peak of some of our finds.
Our European treasures are now in McKinney, and soon in our store. You will have a chance to get first pick at our Unloading Sale next week.
I hope you will join us!
