After only a short four months at The White Elephant Antiques, we have decided to expand! Our "space" is now twice as large, twice as full!!
We loaded up the car! Luann road with an old shabby rocker in her lap!!!
Here I am hanging burlap on our new walls . . .
The finished space, the "warm" side.
And, the "cool" side!
These next pictures are of two matching tables that we put together. For the tops, we used a slab of antique carrera marble, taken from an old bank counter!! Then we found two matching, heavy black metal table bases. The finished console tables are unique and fabulous!!
Love this vintage rug! What a great pattern and wonderful colors!
Some of our "cool" things. Lots of galvanized metal mixed with polished steel chairs and peeling paint boxes.
One of the polished steel chairs in front of a collection of old books.
This shelf was taken from an old factory!
What a neat drafting table! It displayed our extra large ledger book perfectly. (which already sold!)
This antique insect poster is very old and from Paris. The iron gate worked as a unique "frame".
The other french antique print is a bird poster.
I am so excited about this fabulous find!!! These old (1866) french prints are from an ornamentation book. We found the book in perfect condition and each page is more beautiful than the next. We carefully took the book apart so we could sell each page as a beautiful work of art. There are over 500 individual prints. We have some at the White Elephant and some at Smitten. (and some still at home!!) Check out a few pages selling at the White Elephant:
This work table has metal legs and a wood top made from old floors!
Love this old buggy. I can only imagine it full of fresh flowers!
This is an old cart from a shoe factory and inside are handmade wooden drying racks.
Pair of french shutters with original paint and hardware! And there is that shabby rocker that rode in Luann's lap on the way to Elephant!!
Come see our new space!!

Beautiful interiors...no wonder y'all had to expand!!!
Tell Granny I mean Luann, she is supposed to be riding in the rocker on top of the vehicle!

You know what? The vintage rug was the first thing that I noticed! The print is just so stunningly beautiful! What I particularly love is the fact that there's not much color in the design, and the shapes in the pattern isn't overly intricate. Everything's just right, and it would suit even the most elegant of interiors.
