Holiday Store Update

 

 

 

We are ready for the holidays around here!

We have been decorating and re-decorating the store everyday since Thanksgiving!!

 

 

 

 

We brought in fresh winter plants from a local greenhouse.

Add a hand made silverware garden marker for $12 each.  The markers are hammered with Christmas Cheers for a perfect host gift.

The home side of the store is filled with new treasures from recent junkin' trips, as well as some purchases from our last European trip that we have been holding on to!

 

 

 

 

One of our favorite finds in England was this hand-painted wooden horse.  He would be a beautiful center piece.  I love him mixed with our giant jingle bells and pine cone garland.

 I love this wall rack made from old reclaimed wood!  We have it full of vintage treasures!

We still have some antique pharmacy bottles that we bought in England.  They are from all over the world, many still have the original hand written labels.

 

 

 

There are so many Christmas trees at the store right now!  It is festive!  This vintage one is about 7' tall and a beautiful shade of antique white.  It is $320.

 

 

 

 

How much is that doggy in the window?!

These are over 100 years old from England.

"Velveteen" Dogs, well loved, $180 each.

 

 

This table top white tree is also vintage and $220.  Notice the pine cones?  They are real pine cones which have been dipped in silver!  Many have started to tarnish and are gorgeous!

 We have quite a collection of vintage crystal and glass bottle tops.  They all came from England and each one is unique.

Another collection of salt and pepper shakers! 

 

 

 

Purple and Silver for Christmas?!  Vintage silver decorations look great with old purple bottles.  You will also find dried and preserved purple hydrangeas, jeweled purple votives, and beaded snowflake ornaments.  It is magical . . .  

 

 

 

Love this old Carrera marble scale from England mixed with pressed glass plates, cake plates, and cloches that are etched with words "Delicious", "Delightful", and "Divine".

I will never be tired of vintage ornaments displayed in silver cupcake liners.  What a wonderful way to display any collection . . .

 

 

To end  . . .

The meadows in England were so charming filled with grazing sheep, that when we found this fabulous loved antique toy, we just had to bring him home.  He is from the Victorian era, still on his original metal wheels, well loved and worn, and a beautiful memory to pass along.
