The beautiful painting above is by a local McKinney artist, Anita Felix. She is just as beautiful as her paintings . . . her art comes from her sweet heart.
I fell in love with this one the moment I saw it. Can you imagine being surrounded by a bouquet of the softest petals and the intoxicating scent of wonder? To me, these represent the kindnesses that we are capable of capturing and passing along in the wind.
I personally have been touched by two acts of kindness these last few weeks and both times I was taken off guard at the generosity and general goodness that people are capable of. Both times it took my breath away and touched my heart in a way that I can’t even express my thankfulness. You know who you are and I want you to know how much I love what you did!
Three years ago today, I spread my husband’s ashes in the wind on his favorite running trail. I think he knew I might need hugs this week and sent these roses (kindnesses) my way. I am just now finding it a bit easier to see and appreciate beauty again . . . thanks to the awesome people that surround me.
I challenge each of you to come up with an act of kindness, random or deliberate, to pass along to someone. I promise it will make their day and yours too!
Luann

Luann,
I believe your husband sent them too and by you sharing with us, the readers, you in turn are scattering seeds of kindness that hopefully will take root in others. I know I'll be tending mine, hoping for new growth as a person.
Thank you.
Many blessings,
Debbie
